Coins around a Green Candle for a Pay Me Back Spell (Hoodoo)

Hoodoo Style Pay Me Back Spell

If a friend owes you money, or even less personal and more serious like a large amount owed, this spell will help you get your money back.

Gather at least 5 coins or an amount in multiples of 5 (have all the types of coins represented). Dress a green candle (either a votive, a figural candle in the gender of the person who ows you money) or a Green Devil Candle (working from the bottom up) with olive oil, cinnamon, patchouli, wintergreen, and basil. Place it on the left side of your altar. Place all the coins in spiral shape, with the spiral going toward the candle.

On a piece of brown paper bag paper write down with green ink write the person’s name and how much they owe you. If you have a personal concern of theirs, like nail clippings, hair, photo or sample of handwriting, tape it to the petition paper. At the end of the petition, write down “By the grace of God the Father, I shall receive this money from [name of person], in Jesus’s name, Amen”

Now fold the petition paper in 5 folds, folding towards yourself. Light the candle for 5 minutes, for 5 days, at either 5 a.m or 5 pm. On the last day, let the candle burn down. During each working, pray Psalm 23.

Dispose any spell remains at the person’s house, if possible. Either bury it in the ground, in one of their potted plants, or underneath on of their bushes. If that is not possible, bury it somewhere on their street, on the side of the street that their house/apartment is one, in a way that the lane is going TOWARD their home.

Communication Spell

Write in cursive your name and the name of the target in a circle, without lifting your pen, such that the two names are joined together. (You can go back and cross the t’s or dot the i’s .) Put the paper into a jar with 3 oz. of whiskey along with 3 oz. of tobacco water, 3 pennies, three drops of Mercury Oil (planetary oil), and let it sit for 7 days. When the mixture is ready, spray it on a yellow 7 day knob candle while saying “Name of person, you will contact (talk to, communicate with, write, call, etc) me.” Burn one knob each day, and tell the candle each day that you want a particular person to communicate with you.

Oshun (Ochun) Love Oil. The Yoruban goddess Oshun has many names. She has 16 caminos (roads, pathways). Her name is linked with love, beauty, sexuality and fresh water. Oshun is worshipped because She rules the rivers, ponds and other forms of fresh water that sustain life. Her influences are the aspects of love, flirtation, sensuality, beauty and the arts.  Streams, rivers, lakes and waterfalls are sacred to her.

Spells for Oshun would include love, relationship, and marriage spells. If you are doing a marriage spell, be sure to include Shango in your spell because Oshun was once married to Shango.

Oshun Oil is made for people who want to draw in the energy of Oshun, the Yoruban Goddess of Love, Beauty, and Sexuality. There are many ways you can use this oil. The oil can be used to anoint yourself or dress a candle.

Suggestions for using Oshun Oil:

  • Gather 5 sunflowers, place them in a vase with fresh water and pour in a bit of the Oshun Oil. Place the flowers in the center of your home.
  • Mix Oshun Oil into some of her favorite foods such as oranges and honey and place it on your altar.
  • Pour 5 drops in a bowl of spring water and leave it by the front door in order to draw in her energy.
  • Anoint 5 chakra points on your body.
  • Pour 5 drops into your bath.
  • If you were born under the sign of Libra, there is a good chance that you would connect well with Oshun.

OCHUN LOVE SPELL FOR MARRIAGE

Take a pumpkin, empty it but leave some seeds in it, write your lover’s name on a brown piece of paper, place in the bottom of the pumpkin with 5 fish hooks. Cover the paper and hooks with honey, then sprinkle with cinnamon. Then on top of that carefully place 5 egg yolks.  Over that (carefully) cover it all with cooking oil — you want to try and keep the layers though some stuff will float.
Once you have filled the pumpkin with the oil (fill it to about 2 inches below the top of the pumpkin.  You now need 5  floating wicks.  Light the wicks and let burn for one hour, repeat the lighting and burning for one hour for 5 days (so make sure you have enough oil in there) After 5 days go to a river with it. Offer the pumpkin to Oshun with 5 cents.

Return My Lover To Me

Anoint a pink image Candle with Return to Me Oil to represent your lost lover and inscribe his/her name on it.
Burn the candle, and when completed, bury it in a new flower pot.
Also in the flower pot place some personal concerns of your lover, such as hair, blood or nail clipping if you have some; if you don’t, a picture will do.
Wrap with an article of clothing belonging to the person around the pot.
Plant either jonquil or Lily of the Valley in the pot.

For nine days, pray over the pot:

I cry out your name to the source of all love
Summoning the spirits to assist me.
I must have you,
I can wait no longer.
Return to me, return to me
I command thee.
My heart desires our togetherness
Return to me so that our destiny can be fulfilled.

A Pink Candle Spell

Here is a pink candle love spell that you might find works very well.  It was originally a woman’s spell, because of the phallic shape of the candle, but there should be no reason a man couldn’t perform this spell.

First you will need a pink candle that will burn down in due time. I suggest a votive sized candle.

You will have to inscribe it (see below), so do not use a candle that is too small.  It can be be larger than a votive light (i.e. a pillar candle)

Prepare your altar and decorate it with those things precious to you and to the one you love. Using a rose thorn from a white rose bush, inscribe the words “All my love come to me” 3 times on the candle. Place the inscribed candle in the center of the altar and light it. For the entire time the candle burns, gaze upon it and visualize your love coming to you in all their wholeness and soulful entirety. When the candle burns out, collect the wax puddle that remains, wrap it up with the items from the altar and keep it all in a safe place until you decide it’s the right time to dispose of your spell remains.

The result of this spell will not give you a slave kind of love from the person: but you will receive ALL the love that person has for you — which may be less than, as much as, or more than the love you have for them. Accept the degree of love you receive with grace and tenderness. A person is capable of only so much love, and the Universe (God) has made them this way. It is not up to us to force them to be a different person than what God made them to be

If — in the future —  you no longer desire to receive this person’s love, dispose of the spell’s ritual remains in an uncomplicated  way. Depending on your situation, the wax puddle can be burned on a fire, buried at a crossroads, thrown into running water, mailed to him, ground to shavings and baked into a cake — or whatever you feel is right. But it is your responsibility to dispose of it if you no longer want to be loved in any way by this person. You have choices and you much choose the method that suits both you and the nature of the spell the best.

Attract Your Soulmate Spell

Create a poppet in pink cloth intended to represent your future soulmate. Put love herbs, love and attraction oil, and a glass or wax or paper heart in it. Also stuff a petition paper in it that describes what your soulmate. Include this poppet in a love attraction spell.

A poppet is a specially made fabric doll. It is a basic roughly human shaped figure made from 2 pieces of fabric, like flannel for example. While cutting the cloth, concentrate on who it will represent. It may then be worked on further with embroidering it with facial features, special characteristics such as a beard, mustache, long hair, etc. Even astrological signs can be embroidered onto the doll to help symbolize whom you wish to attract. Use your imagination and creativity in making your poppet. Sew the figure leaving the top open so that you can add your oils, herbs and wax heart.

Once you have made your soulmate poppet, hold the poppet over your heart, close your eyes, and concentrate your thoughts on the soulmate you want to attract to you. See him or her in as much detail as you can: height, weight, eye and hair coloring. Think of the interests, sports, activities, you would like them to have. Then see the two of you together, walking hand in hand. Pray to the Universe to send this soulmate to you. When done, kiss the poppet and put it on your altar.  Do this every day that you are working this spell because the more that you do this, the more your poppet will be empowered. (You should do this spell for a minimum of 7 days, but keep it up until you have met someone that you think that possibly the Universe has sent you)

If you are using candle work to draw a soulmate to you, I recommend using a pink candle and not a red candle.  Pink is for love and red is for sex and passion. You could add a red candle if you wanted, but really I think that would be optional — to me, the pink candle would be the main thing.

Another suggestion I came across that I like very much is the use of a key in a love spell.  You wish to have the key to a person’s heart — you wish to unlock their heart and also know the essence of their heart. A small key could be put into the poppet, or one could be drawn onto the petition paper, or a key could be included on your altar.

Remember, this kind of magic not a case of drawing a specific person to you. Rather, a soulmate attraction spell is used to draw the right someone to you — the person that the Universe knows is your soulmate and the correct person for you.  Do not specify a particular person (that would be a different kind of love spell) though you can certainly describe the kind of person you would like.

St. Cajetan Job Seeking Candle Spell

St Cajetan is the patron saint of job seekers.

Saint Cajetan is regarded as the Patron Saint of the job hunter and the unemployed. This spell calls upon Saint Cajetan who is eager to help you find a job or a better paying job. If you are tired of your present job and looking for a better one, or if you are currently unemployed, appeal to Saint Cajetan, who will aid you in your quest for a better position or career.

Mix in a bowl:
–1/2 tsp of each herb. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Fenugreek seed, & Basil
2 oz green olive oil.

Bless the oil in the Name of the Holy Trinity.

You will need three new Green candles. Dress each one with the oil/herb mixture from bottom to top. You will arrange the candles in a triangle on your altar. On the top candle, inscribe “good paying job” and on the two bottom candles write the Success Symbol

Write a petition paper on a piece of brown torn paper grocery store bag. Write on a piece of paper what you would like in terms of a good paying job. Be specific. Write the city and state where you want the job. At the end of the petition paper, write out Psalm 118: 25: “Save now, we beseech thee, O Jehovah: O Jehovah, we beseech thee, send now prosperity.” Fold the paper and place it under the top candle. Place a dollar bill underneath the bottom left candle; on the bottom right candle place a W-2 form with your name and social security number on it.

Light the candles every day for seven days. When you light them, pray to St. Cajetan, the patron saint of job seekers. Offerings to St Cajetan would include bread and wildflowers.

On the seventh day, light the candles and pray “Thank you Saint Cajetan for working on my behalf for a better paying job!” Keep the faith and continue to pray to Saint Cajetan as he will answer your prayers in his own time!

Dispose of the spell remains in an unobtrusive spot at a bank. When leaving, do not look back at the spell remains.

Green Candle Money Spell

On a torn piece of brown paper bag (like from the grocery store), take a pencil and write how much money you need and why you need it. Draw a circle around the amount and then write your name around the circle, continuously, without lifting your pencil off the paper.

Next take Money Drawing Oil and dress the paper in a 5 spot pattern. Placing four dots on the circle and then connecting the dots in a counterclockwise direction starting at the dot in the north and ending at the dot in the north is very effective.
Pray over the paper asking for God’s favor. You can use Psalm 23

The paper is now folded in half, folding towards you. Fold it in half again and again fold it towards you. Carry it with you all day. Feel free to touch, reread (out loud is best, but in your had is fine), and pray over the paper throughout the day. When you fold it up just remember to fold towards you.

Green Candle

That night open the paper up and reread it. Place it below a green candle dressed with Money Drawing Oil. When you dress the green candle, rub the oil upward from the bottom of the candle to the top of the candle

Pray over the paper and candle. You can use Psalm 23 or Psalm 4

 Pinch out the candle and repeat for seven or nine nights. On the last night, burn your petition.

Trinka 5 Money Spell

Place a small bowl in a place you will see everyday.
Hold 3 coins in your dominant hand and say “Trinka five, trinka five ancient spirits come alive, money grow and money thrive, spirits of the trinka five.”
Toss the coins in the bowl and repeat the spell for nine days then continue doing so once a week until you have the money you need.

I added the rectangle so that when you print out the picture, you can write in the name of the person (either yours or someone else’s) who needs the money. The blue of the cup represents the water. When you set up your altar, place this picture on it along with the actual items needed and perform the spell.  Alternatively, you could take a printout of the picture and carry it around in your purse or briefcase or pocket.
