Ochun’s Pumpkin Love Spell

Get a pumpkin and hollow it out with a spoon.. Using a pencil, write the name of your beloved on a brown piece of paper and put it inside the pumpkin. You can also do this with a photograph of your beloved.

Then you drop 5 fishing hooks on top of the photo or paper with your beloved’s name on it.  Pour honey and beer, preferably a sweet ale all inside the hollowed pumpkin.

Replace the top of the pumpkin and make sure it’s fixed on very well, even if you have to pin it – do NOT remove the top of the pumpkin.

Then you call out to Ochun, the Santeria orisha who rules love. marriage and money. Ask her to sweeten the heart of whom you wish to enchant.

Light a yellow candle as yellow as Mama Cachita’s color (yellow-gold). Put the pumpkin on a white dinner plate and place it in a closet or a corner, out of view of visitors, etc.

After 5 days (since Ochun’s number is 5), you carry the pumpkin to a river, only a natural river and throw it in. And pray to Ochun to have the love of this person for yourself. Again, this is a powerful spell and be prepared for irrational love and desire from the person you put the spell on.

A Chango Love Spell

Thanks to Rand Strahin for posting this at the Hoodoo Arts FB group. It’s posted here with his permission. Randy has a disclaimer: “I need to offer a disclaimer though. This spell, in it’s simplicity, is actually quite powerful and the person who casts it must be prepared for a full on love takeover. This man will never want to leave your side.”

A love spell that transcends sexual preference that involves invoking Chango, a Lukumi orisha.

Get two red 7 day candles. You will need to burn a red candle for 9 days. Light the first one and when it gets low, go ahead and light the second one. But the flame of a red candle must burn for 9 days.

After you’ve lit the candle just call his name and rap on a table or stomp your foot on the floor. Then you take a red apple, cut the top off of it and hollow it out. Then you would write the name of the person you are in love with’s name in pencil on a small piece of brown paper.

Put it in the apple and fill it with honey and replace the top of the apple. Ask Chango to touch the heart of the person you love. During those nine days, place candies, apples, rum, etc. by the candle you have burning. Every day during that 9 day period, devote some time to tell Chango how much you appreciate his assistance. And call your beloved by name each time you have communication with the Saint.

You leave the apple for the 9 days you burn the candle. When the spell has “kicked in” you will receive a small subtle sign. Finally, after 9 days, throw the apple into a river or the ocean. And pray pray pray.

Anima Sola (Intranquil Spirit)

Who is Anima Sola, the Intranquil Spirit?

She is a lonely woman in Purgatory, praying desperately to be released. She is very popular in Latin America. I have heard that once you pray to her and work her spell, she is attached to you forever. Some consider her working to be dark side or left-handed work, because it robs another of his or her free will — they will never know peace until they come back to you.  The spell below recommends a pink candle, but The Demoniacal recommends a black candle and an offering of water. Anima Sola is often used as a more coercive form of Reconciliation Work.

Luciantos, along with the typical cautions about working with Anima Sola, has a completely different working for her.  He includes a honey jar  (because the person coming back will be angry and stressed out from the side effects of the spell and therefore needs to be sweetened to you), a protection vigil if you don’t have Fiery Wall of Protection, protection oil, cleansing beforehand and an exorcism after.

Cat of Cat’s Rants has a different way of calling the Intranquil Spirit and her working is called “Evil Reconciliation Spell.” Her attitude is quite different from others in that she believes the spell is safe even for beginners and that the ill or evil effects are overstated.

A blog page over at http://sansespiritismo.blogspot.com explains that there are numerous Intranquil Spirits, not just Anima Sola.

Working with Anima Sola is dicey in the sense that it is considered darker magic and has consequences; some think that summoning her is summoning a spirit directly from Hell.  So my advice is read all the links I’ve provided about her before choosing to perform this working.

There are different variations of ingredients to perform this spell and the following is just one of them.

Time: Full Moon or Waning
Day: Friday
Hour: Venus
Tools: *Pink Candle, Either Intranquility Oil, Commanding Oil, Reconciliation Oil, or Follow Me Boy Oil.
Crucifix (which can be a rosary or a cross)

To make a former Lover be unable to rest until he/she returns.

Inscribe the Pink candle with the persons name on it. Annoint the candle with either of the listed oils. Light the candle,and while holding the lit candle in one hand ,and the crucifix in the other say:

“O Intranquil Spirit,you that in hell are wandering and will never reach heaven hear me, O hear me!
I want you to grasp the five senses of {name of lover} and do not let him rest in peace ,neither seated nor standing,waking nor sleeping,that he should think of seeing me, hearing me, tasting me, and touching me, that he should find himself as desperate as the waters of the seas and as torn as the wind in the storm until he returns to me, that he should run and run until he humbly falls at my feet because nobody will help him,and that neither a divorced woman nor a married woman, a widow nor a young woman shall ever love him, but only me and me alone.
{Name of lover}, I conjure you before the cross and God Almighty that you are to run after me as the living after the cross and the dead after the light.
AMEN.”

Place the crucifix on your alter, and then place the candle below the crucifix on your alter. Let the candle burn itself completely out. This person won’t rest until they come back to you.

Fast Luck Oil

YOU WILL NEED

A small bottle 10 drops wintergreen oil
10 drops vanilla oil
10 drops cinnamon oil
Carrier such as almond oil
(If you wish you can suspend a small piece of
alkanet root [Bloodroot] in the bottle for a deep

Good Luck Spell

Good Luck Spell

This spell will help clear the bad luck out of your life and draw good fortune to you. You will need one candle to represent yourself in any color you choose. You’ll also need one gray candle, one black candle and one orange candle.

  1. Before you begin the spell, take a shower to wash away any negativity clinging to you.
  2. Etch your name into the candle that represents you and light it.
  3. Anoint the candle with Fast Luck Oil (either store bought or homemade)
  4. Light the black candle and visualize all the bad luck that has plagued you. Next, say “Bad luck leave me now.”
  5. Light the gray candle and say “All my bad luck is now dissolved.” Visualize all the troubles in your life dissolving into nothing.
  6. Light the orange candle and say, “Only good luck and positive energy comes to me now.” Visualize good fortune being drawn into your.

Pay Your Bill Spell

This is an easy spell is used to bring in a specific amount of money to you when you have a debt to pay. You’ll need a green candle,money drawing oil, and brown paper torn off of a paper grocery store bag.

  1. On a piece of  brown paper bag torn off a grocery store bag, write the amount of a bill you owe, who the bill is from, and the date in which you need to pay it by.
  2. Anoint a green candle with the money drawing oil, starting from the bottom of the candle to the top.
  3. Place the paper with the amount written on it under the candle.
  4. Light the candle, take a deep breath, and for the next 15 minutes, visualize writing the check to pay the bill, putting it in an envelope with a bill and then mailing it.
  5. Snuff the candle with your fingers or use a snuffer. Do not blow the candle out or it will interfere with your spell.
  6. Repeat the ritual for seven days at the same time each day. You should start on a Friday and end on a Friday.
  7. On the final day, use the candle flame to burn the paper, and allow the candle to finish burning out on its own.

Love Binding Spell

This spell is used to bind your love partner to you. You  will need a red candle, preferably in the form of the person you love (a male or female-shaped candle), one long string from your clothing and one from your target’s clothing.

Write the person’s name and the shape of a heart onto the candle. Dress the candle with some kind of Love Draw Oil, either store bought or homemade. Focus on the person you lovel, to bind this person to you in love.

Take the two strings and tie them together on one end, and then on the other while saying: I bind this knot to bring (insert the target’s name here)’s love. I bind this knot to bring (person’s name here)’s desire.

While tying a second knot at each end, say the following: I bind this knot and bring (person’s name here)’s faithfulness. I bind this knot to bring (person’s name here)’s love to me.
Tie a third knot on one end of the string while saying: Come to me, so that we may always love each other.

Light the candle and say: Psalms 63:3  Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

Speak the Truth Spell

Hoodoo Truth Spell: When you need the truth from someone.

To perform this spell you’ll need an orange candle (for blockage removal, to remove the block that is preventing the truth from coming out) and a white candle (for purity and truth). If you desire, they can be in the shape of a person that you seek the truth from, a man or woman. (These would be human figure candles in male or female which are available at any hoodoo/metaphysical shop, or online).  You will want to perform this spell on a Wednesday, which is ruled by Mercury and good for workings involving communication and knowledge.

  1. Dress the candle by writing the name of the person you are seeking truth from on it and then carve “Tell me the truth.” If you are unable to write this on the candle, use a petition paper sprinkled with with clarity oil and eyebright.
  2. Annoint the candle with oil that you have purchased or made for the ritual, and then light the candle. I personally suggest clarity oil (to see the truth clearly) and sprinkling some eyebright on top of the candle to that your eyes are opened to the truth of this person). Rub the oil upwards, from bottom to top, because you are bringing truth to you.  Sprinkle the eyebright on top of the candle in a clockwise fashion, because clockwise is forward, positive movement.
  3. Once the candle is lit, say the following: A spell of truth I cast upon you, deceit and all confusion leave. Speak now, (insert name here), and reveal the truth to me. With this light I can see, the truth be revealed, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
